It’s no surprise that I’m pretty excited to see the first appearance of my favorite character on the big screen. I’ve been a fan of Harley Quinn since day one of Batman: the Animated Series. And now, I get to see a version of her inspired by her appearance in Suicide Squad (the comics), and portrayed by the lovely Margot Robbie!

So, of course, I had to plan an outfit for the occasion. Here’s the cosplay progress so far:

The shirt, jacket, and shorts:

But, I’m changing up a few things..

The choker:

I’m not a big fan of gold or white anyway, so I opted for a black and silver option for my choker. Also: Ignore the awkwardness of this image haha.

But that isn’t all I changed up.

For the wig, I opted for the Suicide Squad comics version of Harley’s hair. I’m not convinced I’d make a good blonde, first of all. Second, I’ve wanted this wig for a while. And third, I wouldn’t get in the other wig I wanted in enough time. However, I’m honestly pretty happy with the switches.

I still have little details to work on, but over all I feel pretty confident in the progress so far. I’m still waiting on the outfit pieces to come in, too.

I’m going to be out of town for a short adventure, so there likely won’t be anything posted for Wanderlust Wednesday, except possibly a reminder that I’m out of town. But there are good things to come, folks! So stay tuned.
