Ever accidentally binge watch three seasons of an anime and it’s movie in a very short period of time? And by accidentally, I mean intentionally because you became completely obsessed.
Welcome to my experience with My Hero Academia.

Welcome to my experience with My Hero Academia.
I have a chunk of my wardrobe that I literally only wear for trips to Universal and Disney. This is beneficial on one hand, because these shirts I wear for just those trips stay in decent condition and don’t get worn to death. But, unfortunately, that means I have a chunk of my closet taken up by shirts I very rarely use.
Guys. I need more closet space.
Summary (from DC):
“From writers Scott Snyder and Stephen King, AMERICAN VAMPIRE introduces a new strain of vampire – a more vicious species – and traces the creatures’ bloodline through decades of American history. This first volume of the critically acclaimed series collects issues #1-5 and follows two stories: one written by Snyder and one written by King, both with art by future superstar Rafael Albuquerque. Snyder’s tale follows Pearl, a young woman living in 1920s Los Angeles, who is brutally turned into a vampire and sets out on a path of righteous revenge against the European monsters who tortured and abused her. And in King’s story set in the days of America’s Wild West, readers learn the origin of Skinner Sweet, the original American vampire – a stronger, faster creature than any vampire ever seen before.”
Holy guacamole, guys. I’m late to the party on this series and I hate myself for it.
May the 4th (Be With You) and Free Comic Book Day hit on the same day this year, which made my hope for a whole Star Wars themed party a bit unattainable, but we did get to have an accidentally too busy FCBD.
We only went to one participating shop, but before that went to another shop we enjoy mostly because, for once, my brother was also with us, so it seemed like a good excuse to drive an hour out of the way.
So, first stop was Villainous Grounds.
It’s New Comic Book Day, and I’m here with a new review and recommendation.
DCEASED #1 is here, and maaaan, I’ve been excited for this one.
