Time to talk about one of my favorite comic series again! And holy shit, what an issue.

Issue #5 of The Plot may very well be my favorite so far. The tension was intense from the start of the issue, right into one hell of an ending that leaves you desperately wanting the next issue.

This is another knockout from a fantastic creative team. There’s a reason this book landed on so many people’s lists for best or favorite books of 2019 – they’re all just that good, and their work together is nothing short of spectacular. There is strength is the story, both with the fantastic writing and the exceptionally talented art Joshua Hixson is giving us, to the atmosphere set by the beautiful colors and the perfect lettering. Everything fits together. Everything compliments each other.

This was such a great issue, and has been a great series so far.

If you aren’t reading The Plot… WHY?! This easily would have been in my own top books of 2019, had I made an actual list.
