It’s been a little bit since I’ve been to a First Friday event at the St Louis Science Center. My last visit was the Stranger Things themed night with my nieces.
But, of course, I couldn’t miss the Star Wars event for January.

When my friend Kelsey and I got to the Science Center, the first thing we really set out to do was begin the Heroes of the Resistance building-wide game. It’s essentially a puzzle solving scavenger hunt of sorts, sending you on a mission to help either Finn (who I had), Poe (who Kelsey had), or Rey. At the end, after completely all of your tasks, you could return to base to get a heroes medal.
Of course, we quickly completely our missions and claimed our prize.
Beyond just that, though, there were tons of other things to do: learning about the science of Star Wars with Dr Patrick Johnson, lightsaber demonstrations, discounted tickets to see Rise of Skywalker in the Omnimax.
You could see screen used props in the Omnimax lobby, as well as get Star Wars themed foods and drinks.
And one of the most exciting things: all the photo ops and 501st Legion members everywhere! We took loads of pictures and had a great time.
I was so excited to sit in that chair.
The only thing I grabbed for myself was this Mandalorian print, because I love Space Dad.
So yeah, that was our fun Friday night of Star Wars goodness.
Feel free to talk Star Wars with me in the comments!
