A Long Awaited Sequel: Yashahime Continues the World of Inuyasha This October!

Prepare for a lot of InuYasha related content the next few months. Not only is Inuyasha my favorite anime, but I’ve teamed up with VIZ Media to promote Yashahime AND Inuyasha, and I’m absolutely ecstatic.

No idea Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon was being made? Well, let me share some info with you.

“In Yashahime, the daughters of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha set out on a journey transcending time. Set in feudal Japan, half-demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated from each other during a forest fire. While desperately searching for her younger sister, Towa wanders into a mysterious tunnel that sends her into present day Japan, where she is found and raised by Kagome Higurashi’s family.

Ten years later, the tunnel that connected the two eras has reopened, allowing Towa to be reunited with Setsuna, who is now a demon slayer working for Kohaku. But to Towa’s shock, Setsuna appears to have lost all memories of her older sister. Joined by Moroha, the daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome, the three young women travel between the two eras on an adventure to regain their missing past.”

For reference, here are the characters:

Moroha – daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome
Towa – one of Sesshomaru’s twin half-demon daughters
Setsuna – one of Sesshomaru’s twin half-demon daughters

I’m so excited for this series! Three incredible main characters, Rumiko Takahashi reuniting with the original Inuyasha production team, and a fresh story line that brings us back to the world and characters so many of us love.

Stay tuned, because I just received a package from VIZ Media that I cannot wait to share with you all!

  2. Excuse me if I may? But before this comes out in English dub, do you think the original English cast members will reprise their roles in this Yashahime? Richard Ian Cox as InuYasha? Kirby Morrow as Miroku? Kelly Sheridan as Sango? Moneca Stori or Kira Tozer as Kagome and etc?
