I’m so, SO thrilled Insight Editions sent this book to me for review! If you’ve been around a while, you guys know by now how much I absolutely adore Batman: the Animated Series. This book is the perfect addition to my own collection, as well as any other Batman fans.

Every page is full of gorgeous artwork from Phantom City Creative’s artist, Justin Erickson, in a collaboration with Mondo to celebrate the beloved show with posters and more. Now, we all have the opportunity to own each piece of art Justin created within this stunning book. The matte yellow and glossy black of the cover is a stunning contrast that really catches your eye. Plus, there’s a forward from Paul Dini, writer and producer of Batman: the Animated Series. Every detail in the creation of this book was well thought out and executed exquisitely.

I love the little sketches and concept art throughout the book, as well as other details, like episode information, and notes about each piece. There’s even an incredible Meet the Artist interview in the beginning of the book.

I honestly cannot recommend this book enough. If you’re a fan of Batman: the Animated Series, or even just a Batman fan in general, this is a must have for any collector.
