Review: Bliss #4

END OF THE FIRST ARC! Lethe’s ravens have descended on Feral City. Benton has heard his son defend him in court and now knows what he must do. It’s time to right the past, sacrifice himself, and return to face the Goddess of Oblivion one last time!

The end of the first arc of Bliss is here, and what a powerful end to an incredible story it was.

Honestly, if you’ve been sleeping on Bliss, you’re truly missing out on a wonderful story. This issue takes all of the things we’ve gotten in the first three issues – the emotional journey of how far a father would go for his son, the horrors of being lost in an addiction, the spectacular aspects of urban fantasy – and take them all to the next level, while setting the pieces up for the next story arc.

There are some absolutely stunning pages in issue #4 that I can’t wait for everyone to see. Caitlin Yarsky really outdoes herself each time, with every bit of art getting more and more impressive and stunning.

Grab issue four this week, and catch up now if you haven’t been reading already!
