Review: Red Mother #10

Written by Jeremy Haun

Art by Danny Luckert

Letters by Ed Dukeshire

Daisy has entered the endgame only to discover that friend and foe alike have turned on her.
Now Daisy will confront the Red Mother alone…and the Red Mother is expecting her.

I stand firmly by this statement, as we approach the end of this incredible series: Red Mother is one of the best horror comics not only in 2020, but in general. This is psychological horror at it’s finest. The art and the writing are both so exceptional and so well paired together – it’s just stunning. I can’t wait to read it all together once it’s finished and really absorb all the delicious spooky goodness.

Anyway, about issue ten:

Things are growing more terrifying for Daisy, and I was on the edge of my seat with this issue. I have to avoid spoilers, but trust me when I say things are just going to get worse.

Again, the art is a beautiful blend of realistic and surreal, the horrors creeping in and leaving readers unsettled. It’s a jarring contrast and it makes it all so successful.

Grab issue #10 on 11/11/20!
