An ancient evil has stalked the Blaines for generations, darkening the doorstep of their ancestral home. For surviving patriarch Chase Blaine, there’s only one option left: hold his remaining family close and burn it all to the ground. But an old flame stands in his way.

The Plot is back and I am a happy girl.

This was an issue you couldn’t put down, for sure. I read through it so fast, I was shocked when it ended – for more reasons than one. The tension lasts throughout the issue, keeping the reader on the edge of their seat.

Joshua Hixson is easily one of my favorite artists right now, and combining Hixson’s lines with Kurt Michael Russell’s colors is absolutely perfect. Everything is haunting and moody, it’s perfect for horror. Jim Campbell continues to bring us more excellent lettering work, as well.
