“KIDS LOVE CHAINS,” Part Two The event continues to unravel as Ellie, Otto, and Ava rise from the ashes of their comic shop to begin their four-color odyssey to find the truth beyond the dome. Meanwhile: super-prisons! Magic guns! Mysterious government agents! And other stuff, too!

I think this issue has a bit of everything in it. Secret government things. Horrors of camps of people used for experiments. Heartbreak. Comedy. Action. All the superhero forearm cameos your heart could ever desire.

There’s a lot to unpack with Crossover, which will make it one hell of a book to pick up in trade after you’ve read all the single issues, just so you can devour it all again in one go, cover to cover, and take in everything you may have missed on your first read through.

The art is fantastic. Geoff Shaw and Dee Cunniffe both put a lot of work into their art and it absolutely shows. The line work is stunning, and the colors are absolutely gorgeous. The lettering work is phenomenal as well.

Grab issue two of Crossover tomorrow!
