“The rest of the Home Sick Pilots continue their search for Ami through the Old James House. But the house doesn’t want them to find her…and is now full of very angry restless spirits. Will they live to cover Blitzkrieg Bop another day?”
I don’t know how Home Sick Pilots gets better and better with each issue, but it honestly does.
Home Sick Pilots #3 is such a beautiful issue, taking us further into the story. Though it still feels like we’re only dipping our toes into this mech horror haunted house tale, we’re getting more and more information each time, and with it, our connection to each character grows. This issue really broke my heart in so many ways, and I absolutely adore it.
Caspar Wijngaard is still blowing my mind with this stunning work. Page after page we get this next level, incredible artwork that I just can’t take my eyes off of. The designs for the other ghosts within the house (and in the story in general) are not only excellent, but they’re so unique to anything out there, including others within the book. I love them all being individual and not generic.
Home Sick Pilots is one of the best books on the shelves, and you definitely don’t want to miss issue three – out tomorrow!
