“Ketsuko has come full-bloody-circle. Standing face-to-face with the embodiment of every dark impulse and twisted desire she’s had, she stares into a crimson mirror… and sees herself clearly for the first time. Do not miss the shocking finale!”
Well, the finale is here, and it breaks my heart to see an end to this story and to Ketsuko.
Unless… maybe…
The finale of The Devil’s Red Bride is beautiful in so many ways. It ties together so many things about the story we’ve been seeing along the ride, gives us more insight into Ketsuko’s past, and explains so, so much – all weaving together in a gorgeous way that I absolutely loved.
A stunning end to this story is accompanied by the always gorgeous art. The imagery and use of color still blow my mind. I almost want to reread the entire series and do an in depth review/discussion about the masterful storytelling and artwork. The lettering is fantastic as well.
Grab issue five of The Devil’s Red Bride so we can all miss this excellent book together.
