“Elodie hates unicorns. For nearly a year, she’s dedicated her life to tracking down and killing them all for trampling her husband, Shintaro. Now exiled from her farming village of Wayfarer for selfishly neglecting her duties, Elodie and her half wolf/half deer companion, Sajen, search the continent of Solothus for clues to the whereabouts of unicorns. When they discover a lead in the port city of Lycus, their revenge mission suddenly takes a dangerous turn.”

A beautiful first issue, By The Horns #1 was one I debated if it interested me initially, but I’m so glad I read it and cannot wait for more of this story! There’s so much to love about this issue: humor, heartbreak, action, adventure. It’s so much more than I expected.

The artwork is absolutely stunning as well. A vibrant, gorgeous fantasy world that leaves you in awe. The character designs, monsters, unicorns, etc – they’re all fantastic. The colors are also beautiful and perfect for the story. The lettering was great.

If you were on the fence about this one – GRAB IT! Trust me. This book is thoroughly enjoyable and out this week!
