After stealing a trove of local lore, Kat begins barricading her house against the Comfort Notch threat. But nature itself seems hell-bent on tearing her family apart.

I wasn’t ready for this issue.

The slow burn that’s been steadily building my fear of leaves is long gone, replaced with non stop dread and heart pounding terror. I’m dying for the next issue right now because I need to know what happens next. This issue was absolutely excellent.

Chris Shehan and Jason Wordie are bringing to life absolutely horrifying and beautiful imagery. I don’t want to spoil anything, but the subtle horror is just as powerful as the more in your face scary things that happen in this issue. The lettering is fantastic as always.

Don’t miss issue six of The Autumnal!
