Review: The Department of Truth #8

Cole Turner thought he joined the right side of the war for the Truth. But now that he’s learning more about Lee Harvey Oswald’s tenure leading the Department, he’s not so sure. The answers Cole seeks are hidden behind a pair of unsolvable riddles: WHO is the Fictional Woman, and WHAT does she want from him? The second arc of the smash-hit THE DEPARTMENT OF TRUTH begins here!”

The New Story arc for The Department of Truth has begun, and with it comes a new character introduction. No one seems too thrilled when introducing this new character to Cole, but I’m interested to see what this member of the DOT will do. What’s coming next for Cole?

I’ve dearly missed the stunning art of Martin Simmonds – but it’s back with the new arc! Everything is so creative about this art. The designs, colors, etc. It all brings this particular series to life perfectly. I can’t imagine anyone better suited for it. The lettering is great as always, too.
