We are back, my friends. Another month of anime, another post of recommendations. If you wanna check out my profile on My Anime List, click here.
I’d like to add that I’ve been continuing on my Naruto journey during all of this, but I haven’t gotten far enough yet to merit more commentary. I also rewatched Death Parade, which you can read about in my first Anime I’ve Watched Recently post. Aside from those and the below, I’ve started a handful of shows for article research. But we’ll get to those next week when I’ve gotten through more episodes.
Now, let’s get started:

Fate/Zero
“Seven Masters summon Servants and fight against each other until the last one survives. The untold truth of the Fourth Holy Grail War that occurred 10 years before Fate/stay night is about to be revealed.”
My first venture into the Fate series and I really enjoyed it. It was definitely one of those shows that leaves you unsure exactly who you want to put your faith into, though. I liked some masters but not the servants, and some servants but not the masters – and some I just flat out hated both. But it was enjoyable and I’ll definitely be starting the next part of the series, soon.

The Ancient Magus Bride
“Chise, a 15-year-old orphan girl, gives herself up for auction and is bought by Elias, a mysterious sorcerer with demonic leanings who makes her his bride.”
HEAR ME OUT: That summary makes it sound a lot more…. yikes than it is. Trust me. Watch the show and you’ll understand.
With that said: I’ve wanted to watch this show for some time. Something about the design of Elias really appealed to me, so I finally watched and absolutely fell in love. This is a heavy, emotional, and beautiful show. Honestly, I’m probably going to rewatch it and do an in depth review/analysis, because there is a lot to unpack.

Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train
“After completing their rehabilitation training, Tanjiro and his comrades arrive at their next mission on the Mugen Train, where over 40 people have disappeared. Together with one of the most powerful swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps, Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku, they face the nightmare on board.“
You can read my spoiler free review (and see my Demon Slayer outfit!) here.
I absolutely loved the movie, and I’m super grateful to have seen it in the theater…. twice. The animation especially for the fight scenes, was spectacular. Definitely watch between seasons one and two. Like… make sure you watch this before season two drops!

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
“A murdered office worker finds a new life and calling as a skillful slime in an alternate world.“
I finally got farther and I’m loving it! I’m so excited for season two to get here. These characters are so loveable and this is one series I really kinda wish I lived in haha.
What are YOU guys watching, lately?
