Review: The Recount #4

Written by Jonathan Hedrick
Art by Joe Bocardo
Colors by Sunil Ghagre
Letters by Cristian Docolomansky

Alone inside the White House, President McDearmon and Special Agent Barto receive unwanted visitors. While Barto defends the Executive Mansion from dangerous intruders, civil unrest erupts across the nation, manifesting itself with blood and violence in the streets of Macon, Georgia. Regardless of the outcomes, this nation will never be the same.

The end of the first arc is here! What a ride this has been.

This entire issue felt like I was watching the climax to some blockbuster action movie. I was on the edge of my seat. I was worried for the characters. I wasn’t sure who would win, or who would die. It was probably my favorite issue so far. I’m excited for the next arc!

The art was great. Again, it was like watching an action movie unfold. The scenes were fluid and cohesive. The line work was great, as were the colors. The lettering was wonderful.

Grab issue four tomorrow!
