Writer: Cullen Bunn
Illustrator: Jonas Scharf
Colorist: Alex Guimarāes
Letterer: Ed Dukeshire

Is redemption possible if it is coerced? Forced to confront the horrors of her past, Regan hits the road with Hannah – a victim from her past – who has her own set of secrets. Meanwhile, the other four remaining members of the Chimera find themselves tired of hiding from the world and move to reignite their reign of terror and death.
BASILISK #2 features main cover art by series artist Jonas Scharf and variant covers by acclaimed illustrators Martin Simmonds (The Department of Truth) and Rafael Albuquerque (BRZRKR).”

I’m so excited about this series. It feels like there is something incredible on the horizon. It’s just one of those stories you can feel the greatness in your bones the moment you start reading. This is going to be a great series. And issue two continued to prove me right.

The art in this series is absolutely breathtaking. The flashbacks are gruesome and haunting. The moments in the present have their chilling vibes when needed. You can feel the sorrow coming from Regan, the regret, without even seeing her eyes.
