Review: The Many Deaths of Laila Starr #4

Writer: Ram V
Artist: Filipe Andrade
Color assists: Inês Amaro
Letterer: AndWorld Design

The mortal incarnation of Death, Laila Starr, must confront the cruel nature of her role in the universe when she once again encounters the future creator of immortality who is drawing ever closer to his destiny. Laila finds it increasingly difficult to divert the man from his path, who this time recognizes her and what she is, as he is now driven by grief from a terrible tragedy…

THE MANY DEATHS OF LAILA STARR #4 features main cover art by series artist Andrade and variant covers by superstar artists Ariela Kristantina (Chain) and Evan Cagle (Strange Skies over East Berlin).”

Another incredibly beautiful issue. The heartstrings were tugged pretty hard with this one, and some puzzle pieces connected as Laila realizes her own futile attempts to stop Darius may be what pushes him into wanting to discover immortality.

The art is, as always, completely stunning. Every page is a beautiful piece of art that brings the story to life. The colors are gorgeous. The lettering is phenomenal.

Grab issue 4 this week!
