Review: Eat the Rich #1

Welcome to Crestfall Bluffs! With law school and her whole life ahead of her, Joey plans to spend the summer with her boyfriend Astor in his seemingly perfect hometown. It’s a chance to finally meet his family and childhood friends, all while enjoying a vacation where every need is attended to. But beneath the affluent perfection lies a dark, deadly rot… will Joey discover the truth before it’s too late, and even if she does, can she survive to tell the tale?”

The first issue of Eat the Rich is SO GOOD. The tension built in just this issue is insane. The entire time you’re reading, you can feel the intense dread looming over you. You’re on your guard, just as anxious as the main character, Joey. As her anxiety grows, so does the readers – and it’s brilliant.

I love the art in this book! It’s so skillfully done and absolutely beautiful to take in. It also adds to the tension building and the horror elements. The colors are perfect and set the mood. And the lettering is fantastic!

Do NOT miss issue one of Eat the Rich!
