“Can Erica withstand the final stages of the mysterious Order of St. George initiation?
Erica finally faces her official initiation into the Order of St. George, a tortuous process that pits a child against an unrestrained monster… and bonds them to it for the rest of their life.
Does Erica have what it takes to earn the Mark of St. George, embody the oath of secrecy each member of the House of Slaughter makes, and take her rightful place among the Order?”

I adore Erica more and more with each issue that we get to know her. Getting to see the horrors that little Erica endured and what brought her into the Order of St George and made her a part of the House of Slaughter. This issue shows us there is still quite a lot for us to learn, and even more for Erica to learn about what it takes to kill a monster.
The art is incredible, as it is in every issue. It helps make the emotional impact that much more intense as you read. The horrors are brought to life. And the sadness in Erica’s eyes breaks your heart. The lettering and colors are both excellently done as well.
Don’t miss issue #20 tomorrow!
