“Thirty years ago, Cole Turner dreamed up a Star-Faced Man who ate children in the basement of his preschool. Today, Cole is going to make sure that nightmare can never haunt another kid. The second arc of the smash-hit THE DEPARTMENT OF TRUTH ends here with a revelation that turns the series upside down!”
This may be the most shocking issue of The Department of Truth so far. A twist I never saw coming. Revelations that left me speechless. This is my favorite issue so far – what an incredible way to end the second arc!
The art has always been brilliant in this series. Martin Simmonds helps us walk that boundary between reality and fiction. Everything feels like a dream (or even a nightmare), and lures us further into the story. The Department of Truth wouldn’t be as incredible as it is without this art. The lettering is incredibly helpful in the immersion, as well.
Do NOT miss this issue!
