Review: The Me You Love in the Dark #3

Written by Scottie Young
Art by Jorge Corona
Colors by Jean-Francois Beaulieu
Letters by Nate Piekos

Ro becomes even more intimate with whoever, or whatever, is haunting the old house as she finds the spark of inspiration for her most personal paintings yet.

Everything about this book is perfect. The steadily building romance within the story. The looming worry that something may not be as it seems. The haunting and intoxicating atmosphere. It’s beautiful and terrifying and, if you combine those two concepts – it feels a lot like love.

The art is ridiculously stunning. Giving glimpses, never revealing too much. Fluid from panel to panel, page to page, making the image play out clearly for us. The colors are stunning. The lettering is perfect.
