The week of Christmas, my nieces needed to do a bit of last minute shopping, so I decided it was a good time to check out some local businesses we could support, as well as giving you all a new place to check out if you’re in the area.
So, we went to The Factory in Farmington, Missouri to check out Aesop’s Treasury.
This store is an oasis of nerdy delight. Books, games for all ages and skills, and plenty of cool things to look at make it an ideal place for friends or family to visit.
We had a great time looking at everything, found some presents, and I even told the girls they could pick out something for themselves.
After the cashier (that I believe was also the owner) gave them a few demonstrations of games that were easy to learn and reasonably priced (so that they each could pick a game out), they settled on Spot It and Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza – both small, fun games we could play together.
One of our favorite bonding things is playing games together, so having more options for game nights- especially options that don’t involve me having to set up our My Hero Academia Monopoly board – are always welcome.
We can’t wait to go back and check out more games, and I’d definitely love to go back and find something new to read.
On top of all of that – there’s a room for events and I believe just for going and playing some games in general. Definitely an ideal place for a game night.
Let me know if you’ve been to or plan to visit Aesop’s Treasury! Keep an eye on their Facebook page for cool events and more!
