Last year during Planet Comicon, we went to Bo Lings for some absolutely delicious Chinese food. But after we left, I spotted a Thai restaurant called Phikul Thai Bistro and decided I’d definitely need to try it in the future.

A few weeks ago, I passed by a Mystery Machine looking food truck. I was in a hurry but excited, sure I’d find out soon who they were and where I could find them.
Skip ahead to yesterday, when my friend Ian posted on Facebook about this incredible food truck called Binky’s Potluck parked in Desloge, Missouri. From the pics, I knew – I’d found the truck!

The Mooby’s franchise has been brought to life from the world of Kevin Smith’s films, and it’s been touring around the US. Luckily for me, it came to St. Louis, and I was able to continue my journey of following Kevin Smith to the end of the world. Continue readingOriginally, this was an event we were planning to attend back in March. But then a pandemic shut everything down – understandably – and it was rescheduled for late June. Since it was a smaller event, and I’m constantly self quarantining as it is, we decided to go ahead with attending. And I’m so glad we did!
So, my nieces have really gotten into anime, lately. Their favorites are My Hero Academia, InuYasha, and Tokyo Ghoul.
Since I’ve been a bit under the weather (thanks, Trigeminal Neuralgia flare), I thought we deserved a fun themed night, and something relatively easy for me to do, given how awful I feel.
