First Friday: Murder at the Museum

“We all love a good mystery. On Feb. 4, join us to solve a mystery at the Saint Louis Science Center! The evening will include a building-wide Clue-style mystery game, trivia, a feature presentation on the science behind solving crimes, and educational activities that will require the use of your “little grey cells.” End the evening with a screening of an Agatha Christie film favorite.”

Disney World Favorites

We’re all stuck inside, at home, wishing we were somewhere else.

I’ve seen a lot of people recreate their favorite rides or “Disney days” at home, and I’ve also seen a lot of Disney Favorites story templates floating around Instagram. So, I decided I’d like to post about my favorite Disney World attractions, parks, foods, etc. I can’t travel anywhere physically right now, but I can take a trip down memory lane – or should I say, Main Street USA?

Cape Anime Con

The people behind Cape Comic Con have added two new types of cons to their roster this year: Cape Anime Con, and Cape Fear Con – which is next month.

While I’ve been to cons that have had voiice actors from animes, or merchandise from various anime, I have never been to an anime specific con. But I enjoy anime, and my nieces are getting into it a lot as well, so I figured this would be a great way to test the waters.

First Friday: Star Trek

The Saint Louis Science Center does a monthly, nerdy event every month called First Friday. As the name suggests, it’s the first Friday of each month, and each is themed differently. They offer a variety of activities, vendors for fandom merch, and occasionally special guests.

And best of all: it’s free to the public, as is parking. There are select ticketed events they warn, but I didn’t encounter any on this trip to know which to point out.

Hellboy Day 2019

Yesterday was Hellboy day, so we took my nieces to a local participating shop to get some goodies. Luckily, All the Rage in Festus, MO was not only having Hellboy Day, but also a big moving sale.
