Aquaman just hit theaters the 21st, and within 8 days, I have seen it three times in theaters. To say it exceeded my expectations is an understatement. And coming from a girl that used to mock Aquaman – I’m legitimately ready to grab some trade paperbacks and read some Atlantean adventures.
My haul from this con is more signature based, than things purchased, though I did buy some things while there.

Do you ever have one of those days that you just kinda want to keep to yourself, recharge, and watch a bunch of movies? I totally needed one of those days recently. So, a few days ago, I rented a bunch of movies, had some nachos, and enjoyed my time in my pajamas watching movies.
Here’s what I rented:
It’s no secret that my faaaaaaaavorite movie is The Boondock Saints. I’ve written papers on the techniques used in it for my film class, watched it countless numbers of times, and even have some nifty neato stuff like posters, some canvas prints, and a fairly badass lamp, figures. Plus shirts. Etc. You get the idea. This is MY movie.
It also just so happens I’ve gotten to meet the three above individuals (my favorite guys in the movie, too): (from left to right) Sean Patrick Flanery, David Della Rocco, and Norman Reedus. Yes, the very same Norman Reedus that plays Daryl on The Walking Dead. I have hugged the Reedus. He has called me Batman. ALL YOUR JEALOUSY IS UNDERSTANDABLE.
It’s no surprise that I’m pretty excited to see the first appearance of my favorite character on the big screen. I’ve been a fan of Harley Quinn since day one of Batman: the Animated Series. And now, I get to see a version of her inspired by her appearance in Suicide Squad (the comics), and portrayed by the lovely Margot Robbie!
So, of course, I had to plan an outfit for the occasion. Here’s the cosplay progress so far:
