Review: The Me You Love in the Dark #4

Written by Scottie Young
Art by Jorge Corona
Colors by Jean-Francois Beaulieu
Letters by Nate Piekos

As Ro’s isolation takes a turn toward the dark, a series of events reveals more of the true nature of her mysterious companion.”

What an absolutely incredible issue. The escalation of terror left me feeling uneasy, especially with a monster portraying such a familiar, human set of characteristics – and not the good kind. This may be my favorite issue – and there’s only one more issue to go!

The art brings so much of the horror within this series to life. So much is told through dialogue. Even more is told through active imagery on the page, and even things that are more subtle going on in the background. The colors set the tone beautifully. The lettering keeps everything clear and perfect for readers.

Do not miss issue four! Out tomorrow!
