Here we go! The second arc of The Plot begins!
I’m a little behind on this review compared to normal, because of health issues, but I am back and ready to talk about one of my favorite Vault books – The Plot!

In this issue, we explore more of the past, and why the Blaine family is cursed.
I absolutely loved the lore exploring in issue #5. Discovering the hardships that lead to why the Blaine family must make sacrifices, why in order to receive, first they must give. Seeing the history unfold on each page added so much more weight to what’s going on in the present with Chase and his family.
And speaking of the present – that ending!
Again, Joshua Hixson gives us beautiful and haunting imagery. Kurt Michael Russell, that also colored issue #6 of Money Shot, enriches each already gorgeous page with beautiful colors. Jim Campbell returns to bless us with more of his great lettering work. Vault really has some of the best teams on their comics.
So, if you havent checked out The Plot yet, you can order the first volume here, and then grab the newest issue at your local shop!
