Kobi-Q in Kansas City, MO

When it comes to finding new places for us to try in Kansas City, I think we’re all going to safely trust my friend Kelsey after this one. I was already excited when she pitched Korean BBQ, but this one really hit it out of the park.

Here’s how our visit to Kobi-Q (Crossroads location) went!

We all started with appetizers, crab rangoon and fried dumplings. The dumplings were literally the best I’ve ever tried.

Photo credit to the boyfriend, since I lost all but a few of my pictures from the entire trip.

Then three of us ordered the Korean BBQ Beef:

The Korean BBQ beef is a bulgogi New York strip thinly sliced with a soy-garlic marinade. I love bulgogi beef so I was sold immediately on this dish, and it was delicious!

Kelsey ordered the Garlic Mama Chicken:

The Garlic Mama Chicken is lightly battered fried white chicken with a caramelized tangy sweet glaze. Kelsey was kind enough to let us all sample her chicken and it was sooooo good.

This immediately became a must-visit for us on our future Kansas City trips.

I highly recommend if you’re in the area for Planet Comicon or any other event and want a beautiful, atmospheric, and delicious restaurant to try!
