If you’ve been around for a bit, you may know that Kevin Smith has had a massive impact in my life. In fact, many of the best memories I have are connected to him. I’ll share some great moments I’ve had below and link each one to their full post for anyone interested!
This was what I like to consider the initial blessing of Kevin in my life. Long story short: I missed meeting Kevin because I was very, very sick. So, Kevin came to meet me.
Coincidentally, around 6 months after meeting Kevin, I was contacted by casting for Comic Book Men. Within a month, I was on my way to Red Bank to film, meet the guys, and shop in The Stash.
Skip ahead a few years when, to my delight, they announced the Mooby’s Pop Up was coming to St. Louis! It was so much fun, and I hope they either set up a brick and mortar location, or do the pop up again.
At Cape Comicon, I had the pleasure of seeing Ming and Mike again from Comic Book Men! It was nice catching up, getting new pics together, and enjoying the con.
I may have gotten really emotional. May have gotten shaky. May have almost cried. Kevin may have needed to hold my hand. It was a lot, okay? But my weekend was absolutely MADE by these guys. And Kevin remembered me!
Clerks III – The Convenience Tour
Last but definitely not least – you can’t really top how amazing front row and VIP to Clerks III: The Convenience Tour was. Trust me, this was a doozy of a night and easily one of the best of my life.
I can’t wait to see where my Kevin Smith adventures take me next. The man is my hero and a good luck charm in my life.
