Welcome back, everyone! People seemed to enjoy the last post about Anime I’ve Watched Recently, so I figured I’d make it a regular (hopefully monthly!) thing in 2021.

Sword Art Online – Seasons 1 & 2

I know I’m way behind on the Sword Art Online hype – but I’m glad I finally watched the first two seasons! This is an anime that likes to stick to the same characters and theme, but switching it up in ways that keeps it super interesting so the plot doesn’t get stale. I’m not sure how much of a deep dive into SAO I want to do, but if you’ve watched and think I should keep watching, let me know!

Yashahime – Ongoing

You may remember a few months ago all of my Yashahime and Inuyasha related posting while I was promoting both shows for VIZ Media. I also rewatched a TON of Inuyasha before Yashahime began. I’m not completely caught up because I’ve been watching off and on with my nieces, but so far I love it.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime – first 9 episodes

I finally had some time to sit and properly start That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and I love it so far. It’s heartwarming (and sometimes heartbreaking), funny, and just the right amount of adventure I need in my life right now.

Junji Ito Collection

You’ll be seeing more Junji Ito around here this year – and this was a fun animated version of Junji Ito’s work to dive into. I like my weird horror things, and this is perfect for anyone wanting an anthology style horror to get into off and on.
